Trams and buses aren't included
The pass includes the hop-on hop-off sightseeing bus and the sightseeing boats, but not a ticket for Västtrafik. You'll need your own transport ticket to reach Universeum, the Maritime Museum & Aquarium in Majorna, and Aeroseum out of town.

How do I activate the Gothenburg Pass? +
The pass activates automatically at your first attraction visit. Have your QR code scanned at the entrance, and validity starts running from that moment. Before that, the pass stays inactive, so there's no downside to buying it well in advance.
Do I need a physical ticket, or is the pass digital? +
The Gothenburg Pass is fully digital. You show the QR code in the Go City app or as a PDF on your phone. There's no voucher to exchange and nothing to collect on site: the code itself is your entry.
Is public transport included? +
No. Västtrafik's trams, buses and local ferries aren't included. The pass covers admission fees plus the sightseeing bus and sightseeing boats. You'll need your own ticket for public transport, more on the public transport page.
What's the difference between All-Inclusive and Essentials? +
The All-Inclusive Pass opens all 22 attractions across 1 to 5 consecutive days. The Essentials Pass allows three visits within 30 days, but the choice isn't free: one comes from a premium list of three options, two from a standard list of seven. More on the variants page.
What if my plans change? +
Go City fully refunds unactivated passes within 90 days of purchase. Once you've used it for the first time, no refund is possible. The cancellation terms on your voucher are what apply.
