You receive the pass straight away as a QR code in the Go City app or as a PDF. No voucher to swap, nothing to collect. - 3
Activate only once you're there
The pass only starts on your first attraction visit. Until then it stays valid for up to 2 years. - 4

Show the QR code at the entrance. From that point the pass runs across consecutive calendar days.

How do I activate the Gothenburg Pass?+
The pass activates automatically on your first attraction visit. You have your QR code scanned at the entrance, and the validity starts from that moment. Before that the pass stays inactive, so you can happily buy it in advance.
Do I need a physical ticket, or is the pass digital?+
The Gothenburg Pass is fully digital. You show the QR code in the Go City app or as a PDF on your phone. There is no voucher to swap and nothing to collect on the spot - the code itself is your entry.
Is public transport included?+
No. The city's trams, buses and ferries are not included. The pass covers admissions plus the sightseeing bus and boat tours. For public transport you'll need a separate ticket.
Is there a Gothenburg Pass for children?+
Yes, Go City offers discounted children's passes for ages 3 to 15. Children under 3 don't need their own pass. From age 16 the adult price applies.
What if my plans change?+
Unactivated passes can be returned to Go City within 30 days of purchase. After first use no refund is possible. The cancellation terms of your booking channel are what count.
